TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.62 billion and HK$748.88 million, or 13.87% and 6.43% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 43.46% and 27.2% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and ZHAOJIN MINING (01818) registered HK$527.87 million and HK$517.7 million of short sales, accounting for 4.53% and 4.44% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 65.54% and 49.89% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.14, or 0.82%, to HK$16.83. TENCENT ended down HK$2.8, or 0.9%, to HK$306.8. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.042, or 1.23% to HK$3.374. ZHAOJIN MINING declined by HK$1.26, or 8.62%, to HK$13.36.
