Sinwa Group has been committed to promoting art into the community, in order to share the joy of art with the public. This March of Art, in partnership with local non-profit art group HKwalls, we present the 2025 Lightwaves Art Exhibition, bringing the most visually impactful finale to the Street Art Festival and injecting new surprises into the annual Hong Kong Art March.

From March 21 to April 21, 2025, the 4,000-square-meter Sinwa Light and Shadow Art Curtain Wall at the Tsim Sha Tsui Center and the Empire Center will feature six acts of original works designed by overseas and local artists, including “MONOLITH” by Spanish artist SpY, which caused great repercussions in Barcelona Currents”, and other outstanding digital light and shadow works, blending innovative digital art technology, dynamic visual effects and colorful colors to lead the public to experience the exciting creation and charm of new media art and immerse themselves in a new aesthetic world against the bright night of Victoria Harbor.

Sinwa Group has been committed to promoting art into the community, so that anyone can get close to art creation. The Street Art Festival organized by HKwalls is one of the important projects of Hong Kong Art March, linking several local, domestic and overseas street artists to create murals in the streets and alleys of Hong Kong Art Light Motion and Shadow” art exhibition will stage six exciting acts of original digital art on the shores of Victoria Harbor through the 4,000 square meters of Sinwa Light and Shadow Art Curtain walls at the Tsim Sha Tsui Center and the Empire Centre. This year, the Group not only sponsored a number of leading overseas and local new media artists to the bustling stage to showcase the latest aesthetic heights of digital art technology, but also insisted on zero threshold to share the joy of art with the public through the most open way. CITIC Group hopes to continue to support local arts and cultural activities in the future, bringing more diverse artistic works to the general public and allowing everyone to experience the unique artistic and cultural charm of Hong Kong.

This year’s line-up of artists includes six groups of new media artists and units from overseas and locally, including SpY from Spain, Alina Nazmeeva, currently based in the US, Angela Ho from Melbourne, Australia, and local artists Desmond Leung, Henry Chu and Xeme & Match. The six giant pieces of digital art they created will be staged from 6pm to 11pm every night between March 21 and April 21, 2025 on the 4,000 square meter Sinwa Light Art Curtain at the Tsim Sha Tsui Center and the Empire Centre.

MONOLITH by SpY: The work of Spanish avant-garde street artist SpY delves into the influence of today’s ubiquitous screen and big data with eye-catching light and shadow effects. The screen is like a magical mirror in which we construct our self-image, and more and more parts of our real world are constituted by it, allowing viewers to reflect on the intertwined relationship between technology and human life in today's society.

Invisible Currents by Alina Nazmeeva: Alina Nazmeeva has formed a dance between visible and hidden through countless adaptations and evolutions of the reciprocal relationship between pollen spreaders and flowers in Hong Kong. The flowers bloom with vivid textures, a dynamic interface between perception and illusion, resembling the changes, blurring and fragmentation of the digital world driven by hidden algorithms.

Thanks For Reaching Out :) by Angela Ho: Angela Ho from Melbourne, Australia brings animated work that blends surrealist retro-style characters that focus on the importance and joy of social connection and interconnectedness.

F10W3R Azaleas, F10W3R Azaleas by Henry Chu: Henry Chu's work originated from his childhood when he heard the news that the Hong Kong House of Representatives on Upper Asiatic Road in Central was open to the public through radio broadcasts.

The Flower Dance by Desmond Leung: Exploring the relationship between man and nature and reflecting the ever-changing world. Spring brings flowers blooming and falling, and the work echoes the changes and cycles of the environment and society through the contrast of digital dead wood and fresh flowers. It encourages us to embrace change, understand life’s fragility, and find beauty in transformation, reminding us that life continues to move forward even in the face of uncertain times.

Game Bot by Xeme & Match: Xeme & Match features robots as the protagonists, which are fully immersed in the game and respond to on-screen challenges at inhuman speeds. The pulse of energy surrounds the city, but in its digital world, games are what it’s all about.

Maria, curator of the Lightwaves art exhibition and founder of HKwalls Wong said: “This is the third collaboration between HKwalls and Sinwa Group, and we are still excited to bring talented new media artists from all over the world to Hong Kong. With the vast scenery of Victoria Harbor as the backdrop, six groups of stylish digital art creations can be presented in a shocking way to the public, bringing a special viewing experience;

Over 80,000 LED polka dot lamps form the Sinhe Light and Shadow Art curtain wall showcasing top new media creations

The Sinwa Light and Shadow Art Curtain Wall, located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui and the Empire Centre, consists of more than 82,000 LED polka dot lamps and is one of the largest multimedia curtain walls in Victoria Harbor Motion” and others, providing an unprecedented platform for young artists to showcase and actively enhancing the integration of art, design and technology, bringing a new atmosphere to the creative industry while becoming a highly visible landscape in Victoria Harbor.

Provide a free shuttle bus for Hong Kong Art March to visit the art space hub in the Southern District

Meanwhile, in response to Arts Month, CITIC Group will partner with the Hong Kong Gallery Association in late March to regularly provide a free shuttle bus — #SouthExpressLine, to transport the public to and from the Wanchai Convention and Exhibition Center and several art space hubs in Southern Hong Kong, including the soon-to-open Land South Gallery Kostyál and others;aimed to allow the public to easily navigate the art spaces in the Southern District, encourage them to discover the great places of art and culture, feel the rich artistic atmosphere of Hong Kong Art March, and promote cultural exchange.
