A journey through hell in a single thought... The king suspects his wife of adultery with his best friend, and so he becomes cruel and violent. His rage leads to the death of his wife and son, and his newborn daughter is abandoned!

A journey to heaven in a single thought... Sixteen years later, a mysterious shepherdess and a prince with a hidden identity fall in love. The dead queen returns in the most wondrous way...

The Winter's Tale is one of William Shakespeare's later 'comedies', and like The Tempest, some scholars classify it as a 'romance', giving it a significant position.

Hong Kong Drama Awards and Hong Kong Minor Drama Awards Best Director Chan Heng Fai leads nine of the hottest local female actors to deconstruct and reconstruct Shakespeare's classic with an all-female cast.
