TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.51 billion and HK$951.1 million, or 23.08% and 8.73% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 40.3% and 42.42% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and LI AUTO-W (02015) registered HK$498.85 million and HK$497.9 million of short sales, accounting for 4.58% and 4.57% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 7.94% and 18% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.39, or 1.97%, to HK$19.42. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.44, or 2.04%, to HK$69.22. TENCENT fell HK$12, or 3.04% to HK$383. LI AUTO-W declined by HK$19.2, or 19.22%, to HK$80.7.
