East Kowloon Cultural Centre | Still Words Left Unspoken
Description
With sincerity, explore life's final lesson.
A father who lost his daughter and a lonely girl who has never felt a father's love.
This unlikely pair, brought together by fate, find themselves in a hospice room, accompanying others on their final journey.
Thinking they were there to help others finish their lives, they are instead forced to face their own wounds in a belated farewell.
If loss is a universal lesson, what should we leave for each other before turning away? And how do we continue living with our scars, our understandings, and our transformations after loss?
Adapted from a true story of the Buddhist hospice care services provided by the Da Jue Fu Xing Centre, this play leads us to confront the topic of life and death, portraying the profound emotions between patients, families, and caregivers.
