(02318) said its net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was
RMB104,061 million for the nine months ended 30 September 2019, a year-on-year increase of
21.5%. The basic operating earnings per share were RMB5.85.
Customer development yielded strong results. Retail customers grew by 9.5% year to date
to over 200 million. Internet users rose 10.4% year to date to 594 million. In the first
nine months of 2019, the group acquired 29.72 million new customers, of whom 11.58 million
were sourced from internet users within the group's five ecosystems. (RC)
