[ET Net News Agency, 24 March 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$233.11
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$39.74 billion, or 17.05% of the market's
turnover. There were 711 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.8 billion and HK$4.23 billion, or
12.07% and 10.65% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 65.26% and 32.7% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$1.99 billion and HK$1.95
billion of short sales, accounting for 4.99% and 4.9% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 20.01% and 13.13% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.095, or 1.72%, to HK$5.605. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.9, or
1.01%, to HK$90.36. MEITUAN-W fell HK$1.9, or 1.13% to HK$165.7. TRACKER FUND jumped
HK$0.2, or 0.83%, to HK$24.2.
