HK$128.56 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$16.58 billion, or 12.9% of the
market's turnover. There were 659 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.58 billion and HK$1.52
billion, or 9.53% and 9.16% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 24.31% and 45.53% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.41 billion and HK$940.97 million
of short sales, accounting for 8.51% and 5.68% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 33.73% and 16.63% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.04, or 0.2%, to HK$20.18. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.038, or 0.85%, to HK$4.416. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.34, or 0.46% to HK$74.06. TENCENT
jumped HK$1.6, or 0.38%, to HK$419.
