HK$134.07 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.69 billion, or 16.18% of the
market's turnover. There were 669 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.93 billion and HK$1.9
billion, or 13.51% and 8.76% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 35.05% and 43.35% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.71 billion and HK$786.27 million
of short sales, accounting for 7.88% and 3.62% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 22.4% and 19.42% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed down HK$0.46, or 0.63%, to HK$72.64. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.044,
or 1.01%, to HK$4.334. TRACKER FUND fell HK$0.15, or 0.75% to HK$19.93. BABA-W declined by
HK$1.4, or 1.63%, to HK$84.35.
