[ET Net News Agency, 28 November 2024] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$108.22 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$18.42 billion, or 17.02% of the
market's turnover. There were 685 short-selling stocks. MEITUAN-W (03690) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.14 billion and HK$1 billion,
or 6.18% and 5.43% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 27.18% and 27.78% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$985.08 million and HK$922.51
million of short sales, accounting for 5.35% and 5.01% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 16.5% and 32.71% of respective stock's
turnover.
MEITUAN-W closed down HK$4, or 2.27%, to HK$172.2. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.08, or
1.51%, to HK$70.54. TRACKER FUND fell HK$0.26, or 1.32% to HK$19.5. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$0.45, or 1.59%, to HK$27.85.
