HK$119.27 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$23.75 billion, or 19.91% of the
market's turnover. There were 650 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and
KUAISHOU-W (01024) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$6 billion and HK$2.6
billion, or 25.27% and 10.96% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 52.69% and 46.75% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$905.36 million and HK$769.35 million of
short sales, accounting for 3.81% and 3.24% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 17.7% and 19.95% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.1, or 0.5%, to HK$19.72. KUAISHOU-W ended down HK$6.15, or
11.7%, to HK$46.4. TENCENT fell HK$3.2, or 0.78% to HK$407.6. BABA-W declined by HK$0.35,
or 0.41%, to HK$84.4.
