HK$66.41 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$12.08 billion, or 18.18% of the
market's turnover. There were 596 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and
KUAISHOU-W (01024) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.46 billion and
HK$1.89 billion, or 20.35% and 15.64% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 42.93% and 51.84% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$527.45 million and HK$413.69 million
of short sales, accounting for 4.37% and 3.43% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 18.7% and 22.23% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed flat, to HK$19.82. KUAISHOU-W ended down HK$5.5, or 10.47%, to
HK$47.05. TENCENT fell HK$0.2, or 0.05% to HK$410.6. XIAOMI-W jumped HK$0.4, or 1.43%, to
HK$28.4.
