HK$85.15 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$14.18 billion, or 16.65% of the
market's turnover. There were 649 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT
(00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.24 billion and HK$848.82
million, or 15.82% and 5.99% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 61.14% and 11.33% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$666.24 million and HK$541.48
million of short sales, accounting for 4.7% and 3.82% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 26.28% and 28.89% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.04, or 0.94%, to HK$4.274. TENCENT ended down HK$1, or
0.25%, to HK$402.4. MEITUAN-W rose HK$0.8, or 0.47% to HK$170.1. XIAOMI-W jumped HK$0.25,
or 0.9%, to HK$28.1.
