HK$219.78 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$31.65 billion, or 14.4% of the
market's turnover. There were 683 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER
FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.66 billion and HK$2.26
billion, or 8.41% and 7.13% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 39.12% and 18.69% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.04 billion and HK$1.44 billion of
short sales, accounting for 6.45% and 4.55% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 24.62% and 17.05% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.102, or 2.27%, to HK$4.596. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.44,
or 2.13%, to HK$21.08. MEITUAN-W rose HK$10.6, or 5.6% to HK$199.9. TENCENT jumped HK$8.6,
or 2.05%, to HK$428.4.
