HK$277.07 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.02 billion, or 13.36% of the
market's turnover. There were 673 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER
FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.08 billion and HK$3.4
billion, or 11.03% and 9.19% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 36.18% and 14.5% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.52 billion and HK$1.23 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.11% and 3.33% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 44.4% and 14.78% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.072, or 1.55%, to HK$4.588. TRACKER FUND ended down
HK$0.16, or 0.73%, to HK$21.8. XL2CSOPHSTECH fell HK$0.148, or 2.98% to HK$4.814. BABA-W
declined by HK$0.6, or 0.57%, to HK$105.2.
