HK$620.44 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$75.84 billion, or 12.22% of the
market's turnover. There were 689 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$11.94 billion and HK$5.63
billion, or 15.74% and 7.42% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 35.14% and 39.79% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$4.55 billion and HK$3.77
billion of short sales, accounting for 6% and 4.97% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 56.3% and 19.27% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$2.16, or 9.08%, to HK$21.64. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.696, or 13.11%, to HK$4.614. XL2CSOPHSTECH fell HK$1.785, or 26.7% to HK$4.9. HSCEI
ETF declined by HK$9.24, or 10.84%, to HK$75.98.
