HK$145.05 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.25 billion, or 10.51% of the
market's turnover. There were 651 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) and
MEITUAN-W (03690) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.35 billion and
HK$956.89 million, or 8.88% and 6.27% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 44.9% and 10.49% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and PING AN (02318) registered HK$632.94 million and HK$632.04
million of short sales, accounting for 4.15% and 4.14% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 10.38% and 22% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHSTECH closed up HK$0.42, or 7.41%, to HK$6.085. MEITUAN-W ended up HK$5.8, or
2.83%, to HK$210.8. TRACKER FUND rose HK$0.4, or 1.75% to HK$23.22. PING AN jumped
HK$1.65, or 3.01%, to HK$56.55.
