HK$254.84 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$47.32 billion, or 18.57% of the
market's turnover. There were 678 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$8.09 billion and HK$7.69
billion, or 17.1% and 16.24% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 42.59% and 61.38% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$3.42 billion and HK$2.19 billion
of short sales, accounting for 7.23% and 4.62% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 23.1% and 56.88% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.1, or 0.51%, to HK$19.84. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.36, or
0.53%, to HK$68.9. BABA-W fell HK$0.7, or 0.76% to HK$91.3. CSOP HS TECH jumped HK$0.016,
or 0.42%, to HK$3.864.
