billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$19.5 billion, or 18.59% of the market's
turnover. There were 665 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.98 billion and HK$2.61 billion, or
15.29% and 13.38% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 46.17% and 19.98% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.09 billion and HK$982.31
million of short sales, accounting for 5.58% and 5.04% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 31.98% and 57.37% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.24, or 1.46%, to HK$16.71. TENCENT ended up HK$16.6, or
5.46%, to HK$320.4. MEITUAN-W rose HK$5.3, or 5.56% to HK$100.6. CSOP HS TECH jumped
HK$0.054, or 1.68%, to HK$3.272.
