　　BioNTech recently announced that its mRNA cancer immunotherapy BNT113 failed to meet the first primary endpoint of progression-free survival (PFS) in the AHEAD-MERIT Phase 2/3 clinical trial. The trial evaluated BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab alone as first-line treatment, and results from this interim analysis showed no statistically significant improvement in PFS. The news dragged down BioNTech's German share price by over 7%.
