Veeko Int'l (01173) sees interim loss of HK$105-120m

[ET Net News Agency, 15 November 2019] Veeko International Holdings Limited (01173)
expects to record a loss ranging from HK$105 million to HK$120 million for the six months
ended 30 September 2019, as compared to a loss of HK$19.05 million for the same period of
the previous year.
It attributed the wider loss to (i) decrease in sales for both the cosmetics and fashion
segments of the group as a result of US-China trade war and the further depreciation of
Renminbi, (ii) valuation loss in investment properties; and (iii) relevant provision
expected to be made. (KL)
