[ET Net News Agency, 31 July 2019] Shanghai La Chapelle Fashion Co., Ltd. (06116) said
it is estimated that the company will record a net loss attributable to shareholders of
the company for the six months ended 30 June 2019 between RMB440 million and RMB540
million, as compared to the net profit recorded in the six months ended 30 June 2018.
Due to the dual impacts of the continued sluggish domestic sales market and the
proactive optimization of the structure of offline channels of the company, in the first
half of 2019, the operating income of the company (calculated on gross method basis)
decreased by more than 20% as compared with that of the first half of 2018. At the same
time, the company accelerated the sales of off-season products, resulting in a
year-to-year decrease in the average gross profit margin of the products. (RC)
