Bestway (00718) places up to 500m shares for HK$24.4m

Bestway International (00718) said it agreed to
place, on a best effort basis, up to a total of 500 million new shares at HK$0.05 apiece,
representing a premium of about 8.7% to the closing price of HK$0.046.
The placing shares represent about 13.39% of the enlarged issued share capital of
Bestway.
The estimated net proceeds of HK$24.4 million will be applied for general working
capital. (HL)
