HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 15,854

[ET Net News Agency, 24 January 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 15,854. The Hang Seng Index now rose 500 points, or 3.3% to
15,854; with market turnover of 106.08b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
197 points, or 3.8% to 5,338; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 125 points, or 4% to
3,273.
BABA-SW (09988) now rose HK$4.5, or 6.7% to HK$72.15, with turnover of HK$5.75b; TENCENT
(00700) rose HK$10.4, or 3.8% to HK$282.4, with turnover of HK$7.74b; AIA (01299) rose
HK$1.85, or 3% to HK$63.1, with turnover of HK$1.73b. (ed)
