HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 20,744

[ET Net News Agency, 14 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
500 points, or 508 points to 20,743. The Hang Seng Index now fell 508 points, or 2.4% to
20,743; with market turnover of 78.18b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell 169
points, or 2.2% to 7,450; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 210 points, or 4.4% to 4,525.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now fell HK$13.5, or 7% to HK$180.2, with turnover of HK$3.1b; TENCENT
(00700) fell HK$12.2, or 2.8% to HK$426.6, with turnover of HK$3.75b; HKEX (00388) fell
HK$22.8, or 6.8% to HK$311.4, with turnover of HK$2.18b. (ed)
