HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 18,416

[ET Net News Agency, 19 June 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 18,416. The Hang Seng Index now rose 500 points, or 2.8% to
18,416; with market turnover of 74.96b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 207
points, or 3.3% to 6,575; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 124 points, or 3.4% to 3,822.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$6.7, or 5.8% to HK$121.7, with turnover of HK$2.63b;
TENCENT (00700) rose HK$12.4, or 3.3% to HK$389.4, with turnover of HK$5.04b; BABA-SW
(09988) rose HK$2.05, or 2.8% to HK$74.15, with turnover of HK$1.21b. (ed)
