HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 20,366

[ET Net News Agency, 9 December 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 20,366. The Hang Seng Index now rose 500 points, or 2.5% to
20,366; with market turnover of 179.3b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 205
points, or 2.9% to 7,342; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 174 points, or 3.9% to 4,639.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$9.4, or 5.8% to HK$171.8, with turnover of HK$8.12b;
BABA-W (09988) rose HK$2.8, or 3.3% to HK$86.75, with turnover of HK$6.29b; HKEX (00388)
rose HK$14.2, or 4.8% to HK$308.8, with turnover of HK$1.94b. (ed)
