[ET Net News Agency, 29 November 2024] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$72.67 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$11.39 billion, or 15.67% of the
market's turnover. There were 635 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.27 billion and HK$522.26
million, or 37.47% and 4.59% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 49.45% and 14.19% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$403.58 million and HK$377.9
million of short sales, accounting for 3.54% and 3.32% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 19.92% and 19.76% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.27, or 1.38%, to HK$19.77. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.122,
or 2.89%, to HK$4.344. MEITUAN-W rose HK$3.8, or 2.21% to HK$176. HSCEI ETF jumped
HK$1.14, or 1.62%, to HK$71.68.
