HK$63.82 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$10.29 billion, or 16.13% of the
market's turnover. There were 631 short-selling stocks. MEITUAN-W (03690) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$723.16 million and HK$704.76
million, or 7.03% and 6.85% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 28.25% and 25.05% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$558.46 million and HK$536.48
million of short sales, accounting for 5.43% and 5.21% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 26.87% and 15.32% of respective stock's
turnover.
MEITUAN-W closed down HK$4.4, or 2.5%, to HK$171.8. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.3, or
1.52%, to HK$19.46. HSCEI ETF fell HK$1.2, or 1.68% to HK$70.42. CSOP HS TECH declined by
HK$0.06, or 1.4%, to HK$4.232.
