Arts Optical International Holdings Limited (01120) said it was informed by Ng Hoi Ying, Michael, an executive director, the chairman of the board and a controlling shareholder of the company, that his wife purchased 2 million and 12 million shares in the company on 20th December 2019 and 15th January 2020 respectively. The share purchases represent approximately 3.6% of the issued shares of the company.
Immediately after the share purchases, the interests held by Ng Hoi Ying, Michael together with his concert parties increased from approximately 50.23% to approximately 53.85% of the total issued shares of the company.
