China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (01186) said China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, a subsidiary of the company, entered into an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with State Clinical Translational Scientific Research of Ghana and Affram and Oppong Group Ltd. of Ghana, for a project of constructing 80,000 affordable housing units.
The construction period of the project is 96 months. The contractual amount was approximately US$3.775 billion (equivalent to approximately RMB26.417 billion), representing approximately 3.62% of the operating revenue of the company for the year 2018 under the PRC accounting standards.
