China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (00836) today announced that the total net generation of subsidiary power plants in October 2019 increased by 8.6% to 11.05 million MWh from 10.17 million MWh for the same period of 2018. Total net generation of subsidiary power plants for the first ten months of 2019 decreased by 3.7% to 120.77 million MWh compared to 125.43 million MWh for the same period last year.
On the same plant basis, the total net generation of subsidiary coal-fired power plants for the first ten months of 2019 decreased by 6.8% compared to the same period of 2018. Power plants located in Hubei recorded 11.4% increase year on year. Power plants located in Henan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, and Other provinces recorded 17.6%, 8.9%, 6.8%, 3.5% and 8.0% decreases year on year, respectively.
