[ET Net News Agency, 14 May 2020] Future World Financial Holdings Limited (00572) said
it disposed of a total of 431.2 million shares of Central Wealth Group Holdings Limited
(00139) during 10 March to 12 May at a total consideration of HK$11.51 million (excluding
stamp duty and related expenses).
The shares were disposed of on the open market and the identities of the counterparties
of the disposals cannot be ascertained.
As a result of the disposals, the group is expected to recognise a loss of HK$10
million. The net proceeds of HK$11 million have been and will be utilised by the group for
repayment of margin loans and general working capital.
In light of the uncertainty in the future global economy with the recent COVID-19
outbreak, together with having considered the funding needs of the group, Future World
considers that the disposal represents an opportunity to realise its investments and to
allow the group to reallocate the resources. (KL)
