[ET Net News Agency, 27 February 2020] New World Development Company Limited
(NWD)(00017) said the group has sold all of its economic interests in two shopping malls
for HK$3 billion to MTR Corporation Limited (00066).
The two shopping malls are "Telford Plaza II" in Kowloon Bay and "PopCorn 2" in Tseung
Kwan O. The agreement will be completed on or before 31 March 2020.
NWD said it will continue to optimise its assets and business portfolios and to dispose
of non-core assets to recycle the capital for the development of its core businesses. (KL)
