Regent Pacific (00575) to issue US$17.5m convertible notes

[ET Net News Agency, 30 May 2019] Regent Pacific Group Limited (00575) said the company
has conditionally agreed to issue convertible notes in the principal amount of US$17.5
million (or approximately HK$136.5 million).
The convertible notes will bear interest at the rate of 4% per annum and will mature on
the third anniversary of the closing date. The conversion price will be equal to
HK$0.2125, representing a 15% discount to the closing price of HK$0.25 of yesterday.
A maximum of 719.44 million conversion shares may be issued, representing approximately
28.14% of the issued share capital of the company after enlargement. The net proceeds will
be applied towards meeting general corporate purposes and for providing working capital to
