[ET Net News Agency, 29 September 2020] Huatai Research lifted its target price for
China Literature (00772) to HK$68.5 from HK$67.7 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house said China Literature is still undergoing a strategic adjustment to
unleash the value of the quality IP (intellectual property) accumulating on its platforms,
by promoting cross-media production and deepening cooperation with Tencent's (00700)
entertainment ecosystem. Its IP operation business is gradually recovering but is still
subject to industry shifts and regulatory uncertainties.
Huatai lowered its 2020 forecasts for total revenue/non-GAAP net income by 30.4/93.9%.
It expects the company's IP operation business segment revenue to recover consistently
from 2021 onwards, supported by quality IP and synergy with business partners. (KL)
