Evergrande (03333) sees 49% decrease in interim net

[ET Net News Agency, 12 August 2019] China Evergrande Group (03333) said the group
expects that there will be a decrease in the net profit and the net profit from the core
business of the group for the six months ended 30 June 2019. Of which, the net profit is
expected to be RMB27 billion, a decrease of 49% from that of the same period last year,
and the net profit from the core business is expected to be RMB30 billion, a decrease of
45% from that of the same period last year.
The decrease in profit is mainly attributable to the decrease in the floor area of
properties delivered in the first half of the year. (RC)
