[ET Net News Agency, 20 January 2020] Daiwa Research upped its target price for Wynn
Macau (01128) to HK$18.9 from HK$18 and maintained its "hold" rating.
The research house cited Wynn parent's filing on December indicating that its October
2019 Macau operating revenue improved to US$422-430m (+4.5-6.6%) from US$403m in October
2018, while its adjusted property EBITDA improved to US$136-139m (+19.8-22.2%) from
US$113m.
While the change in Wynn's estimated October 2019 adjusted property EBITDA appears
strong, Daiwa noted the growth comes from a very low base. Looking to 2020, Daiwa
estimated Wynn's adjusted property EBITDA will expand by 1%. Wynn Macau's newly
refurbished gaming area, with 44 mass-market tables and hotel rooms, could provide the
property with a boost in 2020, but the gains will be limited because of its Peninsula
location. (KL)
